Glass Kerosene Jug

Antique glass kerosene container, possibly used in lighthouses! Metal pouring spout and wooden wire bail handle and a unique wire mesh covering which protects the glass container. This container measures 12″ high to the top of the pouring spout while the top of the glass container is 10″ high and the diameter is 7″. You can see some air bubbles in the old glass.
This glass container is not marked in any way. They have been found in many old lighthouses. Regular metal cans of the same size were also used we have seen. With the small pouring spout you can assume that it was used to pour kerosene directly into lamps or lanterns.
Used but good. Shows sign of normal wear and use. All damage is noted in pictures. Item comes as is, what you see is what you get. Feel free to dm me for more info or pictures!
